Nickname: "Spike"

Hometown: Fayetteville, NC

Birthdate: August 7, 1986

Years racing: 7

Favorite track: Eldora

Hobbies: Racing and riding 4 wheelers

The flame for Denton's passion for racing was sparked when he was 13 years of age. After years of riding motorcycles as a kid, he was about to begin a two-wheeled racing career on a local dirt bike circuit based in the Carolinas. All of that changed when Denton noticed some used racing tires behind a shop while visiting a friend with his father. They learned that the tires belonged to a Dirt Late Model.

Denton was interested in what he saw and started going to the track every weekend to help the Late Model team. The owner of the race car, Alex Hair, told the Little's that they should start dirt track racing and leave the dirt bikes alone. Denton was still interested in racing on two wheels but after talking more about it with his mom and dad, figured that they'd give car racing a shot thinking that it would be a safer alternative. The Little's had a significant investment in their dirt bike program including two bikes, a trailer, and all the necessary components. Fortunately, Alex owned a car lot and helped to get Denton into his first pure stock car at the age of 14. He's been racing cars on dirt ever since.

Denton has raced in three classes: Pure Stock, Super Street, and Late Model over the past few years. He has won in the both the Pure Stock and Super Street classes, and is working hard every weekend for his first Late Model win. His first few years have seen several top five finishes and third place finish in a season's points run. Denton and the Little Motorsports Late Model team race in a highly competitive field of drivers at Fayetteville Motor Speedway.

In his time away from the track, Denton works as the shop manager and field operations supervisor for Mac Sign Company, Fayetteville NC's largest sign manufacturing facility. He also excels at graphic design and provides total car wrap solutions for Mac Wraps. He also enjoys riding four-wheelers, camping trips, and spending time with his girlfriend Melissa, who is always there for him.

Denton can't thank his parents enough for all the support they've provided over the years. They've made racing possible for him and continue to support him with his racing goals. Denton also receives support from his grandfather and prior to her passing, his grandmother stayed busy helping and supporting him behind the scenes.
